SANBOS FAS

SANBOS® FAS

The fine-bubble aeration system SANBOS FAS was designed to meet the requirements of modern waste water treatment and is superior to conventional systems due to its product features. The SANBOS FAS aeration system meets the highest standards in terms of reliability, robustness, easy assembly even during operation, and low investment, assembly and operating costs.

Design

The system consists of a number of floating air-supply pipes which are preferably spread equidistant across the aeration tank. The individual aeration modules are connected by flexible tubes to the air-supply pipe. Each aeration module consists of an air distributor, several membrane pipe aerators and ballast profiles which secure the module against buoyancy.

Advantages

By using suitable cost-effective synthetic materials, pipes made out of expensive stainless steel are no longer needed.  The aeration membrane made out of very high-quality materials guarantees high oxygen entry, reliability and long life with low operating costs.

Each module can be lifted separately; they can therefore be replaced without interrupting operations. Due to the largely pre-assembled components, very short assembly times are possible. In most cases installation takes place in empty pools. The maintenance is carried out from an assembly boat in the filled basin without interrupting operations.

The system has already proven itself to be highly flexible in many plants with individual layouts. The specific layout of the aeration system guarantees high oxygen utilisation and effective mixing; it also reliably prevents sediments on the bottom of the basin and short-circuit flows.
